Complete your biometrics with the Pak-ID app
Your application needs biometric verification, and it all happens on your own phone, in two short parts with a two-hour break in the middle. Watch each video and follow along.
Set up Pak-ID, scan your face and fingerprints
Part 1. Watch first, then follow along on your phone.

Open Pak-ID and tap Register
Leave NADRA Services selected exactly as it is, then tap Register on the left to create your account.

Fill in the registration form
Choose Pakistani National, set your country to United Kingdom, and enter your UK mobile number.

Email and password
Type your email address carefully, your verification code will arrive there. Set a password you'll remember and confirm it.

Your CNIC or NICOP details
Leave the computerized ID card question on Yes. Enter your CNIC or NICOP number exactly as printed on your card, then the date of issue from the front of the card, and tap Next.

Enter the code from your email
Check your inbox for a six-digit code. If it's not there, it will be in spam. Type it in, and when registration succeeds, tap Proceed to Login and log in with your identity card number and new password.

Scan your face
Tap Capture, not Submit. Find good light, keep your face inside the frame, and remove hats, glasses, or a mask. Choose front or back camera, follow the app's guidance, and hold still while it scans.

Verify your fingerprints
Tap Verify fingerprint, then Proceed. Choose Left Hand so your right hand can hold the phone. Keep your fingers together inside the guide, watch the meter on the left, move slowly until the bars turn green, then hold still.
After your fingerprints: a two-hour break
Once your fingerprints are verified, the app takes a break of around two hours before the final part can be completed. This is normal, nothing has gone wrong. When the break is over, continue with Part 2 below. You will need the tracking ID from our message, so have it ready.
Link your biometrics to your application
Part 2. After the two-hour break, with your tracking ID ready.

Log back in
Open Pak-ID again. Enter your citizen number, that's your CNIC or NICOP number, and the password you set in Part 1, then tap Login.

Find Biometric Attestation
On the home screen, scroll down to the fifth section, called Biometric Attestation. Tap Passport.

Choose Myself
The app asks who you are applying for. Choose Myself. If you are doing this for a parent, sibling, spouse or child, choose My Blood Relatives instead.

Verify again
Enter your citizen number and tap Verify Applicant Facial. The app scans your face and fingerprints one more time, exactly like Part 1. You've done it before, so it will feel quick.

Start the application
Enter your citizen number once more, and the tracking ID from our message. Executive is already selected and the fees show zero, that is correct, there is nothing to pay here. Tap Start Application, and when the app confirms your verification completed successfully, tap OK. Your part is done.
