What this covers
Replacing a lost or damaged Pakistani passport takes a little more than a straight renewal, but it can be done from the UK and, for a lost passport, online for a first or second loss (a third loss has to be done in person at a consulate). It still starts with a valid NADRA card, since the replacement is built from the record DGIP holds. If the passport was lost, you will need a UK police report, and it helps to know that DGIP asks for your citizen number rather than the full old passport number (only the first and last few digits of it), plus a photograph of the data page from the lost passport, so an old scan is genuinely useful here. If the passport is damaged rather than lost, we apply under the reprint route and DGIP typically wants photographs of a few of its pages.
