What this covers
NICOP modification is how you correct the details NADRA holds for you: a new surname after marriage, a change of address, a date-of-birth correction, or any information that no longer matches your life. It matters more than it first appears, because your NICOP is the record your Pakistani passport is built on. A passport renewal only ever reprints what the NICOP already says, so if your card still carries the old details, the card has to be put right first, then the passport follows. We confirm which supporting documents your particular change needs (a marriage certificate for a new surname, for example), verify them before anything is submitted, and file the modification with NADRA for you. Your updated NICOP keeps its current expiry date unless you renew at the same time, and it comes back to your UK address.
