What this covers
A NICOP renewal keeps your proof of Pakistani citizenship current, and it is worth doing before the card lapses because so much depends on it: banking, property, travel, and your Pakistani passport all trace back to a valid NICOP. You do not need to visit a consulate for this. We handle the renewal remotely and need your current or expired card, a valid passport, and up-to-date photographs. A renewal is also the moment to fix anything that has changed since the card was issued: a new address, a new marital status, or a corrected detail can be updated at the same time rather than in a separate step. We recommend renewing about 3 months before the expiry date so you are never caught without a valid card. Your new NICOP is delivered to your UK address.
